Cookie and local storage policy

Your choice

EMY METAL uses storage necessary to operate the website. Optional usage measurement starts only after you allow it. Choose “Necessary only” to decline, or change your decision at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Declining does not prevent browsing products or submitting an inquiry.

Necessary storage

• site-consent-v2: a first-party cookie remembering necessary/analytics preference for 180 days. It contains no visitor ID; Secure on HTTPS and SameSite=Lax.
• Language is selected through /tr and /en URLs; no separate language cookie is created.
• Administrator session cookie: issued only to signed-in administrators, HttpOnly and SameSite protected, for up to 30 minutes. Public visitors are not given an administrator session.
• admin-security-reminder: administrator-only localStorage deferring the account reminder until the next login. No password or session token is stored there.

Optional measurement

With permission, site-visit-activity in sessionStorage holds only the last activity time. It is cleared with the tab or withdrawal; it is not a visitor ID. A gap over 30 minutes starts a new estimated visit session. Sessions are not unique people; tabs and devices may be counted separately.

Only the page path, view/product-click event type and a new-session flag are sent. Query strings, search terms, referrers, IP addresses and user identities are not written to the analytics table. Daily page view, session and product click totals are aggregated without individual browsing histories. Totals older than 400 days are automatically pruned when new measurements are processed. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and advertising trackers are not executed; measurement is not sent to advertising providers. Technical processing of an IP to establish a network connection is distinct from storing it in analytics. Hosting security logs are a separate processing activity.

Maps and external links

Google Maps does not load automatically. Loading it connects to Google, which may process connection information and use storage under its own terms. WhatsApp and social links take you to their respective services. Using those services does not enable this site's optional analytics.

Browser controls and rights

You can delete cookies and site storage in your browser. Removing the preference cookie shows the choice again on your next visit. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; previous anonymous totals cannot be separated by person because they have no personal link.
